Lorna Lally DMD is a comprehensive general dentist office which proudly treats patients of all ages. Dr. Lally took over the practice over 10 years ago and we have been growing with and serving the community of Somerville ever since.
We understand that a dental office wouldn't rank very high on a list of favorite places to visit so we have worked hard to ensure that our office is modern and welcoming and our team inviting and warm. Our new space has allowed us to increase our hours to better suit your busy schedule as well as ensuring we have the most up-to-date technology.
We pride ourselves on working for you and your individual dental needs. We will provide you with comprehensive information about your dental health and make recommendations that are in your best interest, not in the interest of the dentist's pocket. We have found that such a partnership between provider and patient encourages a more comfortable experience and better awareness of the reasons behind treatment decisions.

OUR SERVICES
Routine Exams
Dental exams are one of the most important parts of your visit. It is at this time that the doctor has a chance to speak with you about any worries you may have, as well as review your x-rays to point out any areas of concern.
Dental Cleanings
Depending upon your individual needs, we may recommend a regular six month cleaning, or a more frequent recall. The hygienists will help you to understand the status of your oral health and recommend any improvements that you can do at home.
X-rays
Our office follows the ADA guidelines which outline that x-rays should be taken yearly. These images help us to better catch cavities or other concerns before they become full-blown problems. We do our best to minimize any radiation concerns you may have.
Dental Restorations
We like to be conservative in our recommendations for restorations so we will never encourage treatment we do not believe is absolutely necessary. For treatment we cannot perform, we will recommend a highly qualified specialist.
Emergency Dentistry
Although we do keep a busy schedule, we understand that dental emergencies are an unfortunate part of life. We will do our absolute best to see you quickly when an emergency arises and tend to your needs as necessary.
Teeth Whitening
We offer different types of treatments that will suit the type of whitening you are looking for. These can be completed fully in-office, or be continued at home. Come in before an important life event, or touch-up yourself when you just want that extra shine.

Our team is our secret weapon! We are blessed with four amazing hygienists, three compassionate assistants, three enthusiastic receptionists, and of course our two wonderful dentists. Each member of our team will do their best to ensure that you feel completely comfortable at your dental visit and beyond. We work hard to provide you with correct estimates, explain necessary treatment, and calm any nerves.
